the pace is picking up!

Just to keep you up-to-date, on Friday I presented my findings of the selected site - The PE Club.

It seems that the Heritage listing Grade 3A indicates a building of high significance. This means that very little can be done to the site, so the proposed design must be sympathetic to the historical features of The Club.
Now that the Design section has covered the as-built findings, this musty be captured in my treatise document. So that means looooots of writing!

7 site visits 32 degrees celsius

So, Friday we spent the day exploring one another's chosen sites. No one can complain that finding unchartered spaces isn't exciting but 32 degrees, wearing all black with melting make-up isn't something to laugh about.

As it stands, our list of buildings includes:

1. Kristy // Yacht Club // breath-taking ocean views
2. Paula // Hunters Taxidermy // not for the faint-hearted!
3. MEE! PE Club // majestic and proud
4. Deone // 39 on Church // walmer heritage
5. Megan // The Hub // so much potential!
6. Marc // The Lighthouse // can't wait to see how the space is used!

And Anze's is a medical space, so understandably we weren't able to do a walk-through.

Now that all our sites have been approved, the research can begin.....and hours and hours of measuring up!

Hi! It's me - Andrea.

I'm a practicing Interior Designer who has decided to go back to uni to do a further year of studies! This blog will document my adventure and I'll most likely be spilling the beans of my mind onto paper...

Here's to a sharp pencil and a weird little mind!
